About Kelly Landry

Kelly Landry has taught high school and college English for fifteen years. Currently, she is staying home with her boys Hank (3) and Oscar (2). She also helps her husband Phil on a part-time basis with his land surveying business. The Landrys previously made their home in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (Phil’s place of origin) but currently reside in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Although Kelly’s first love is literature (some of her favorite authors include Ernest Hemingway, Joyce Carol Oates, and C. S. Lewis), she also has a special affection for baseball. In 2012 she published The Mental Road to the Major Leagues, a book which she wrote based on extensive interviews with major league players, coaches, and sport psychologists to explain what it takes to become a major league baseball player. She enjoys using the arena of sports to analyze human nature, relationships, and particularly people’s faith in Christ.
